The ACSC brings together existing cyber security capabilities across the Australian Government into a single location.

The Stay Smart Online Small Business Guide helps you put in place some basic online security practices. It only takes a few minutes to read through the five easy steps, developed in collaboration with ANZ Bank, Australia Post, Commonwealth Bank, National Australia Bank, Westpac and Telstra.

CERT Australia is the main point of contact for cyber security issues affecting major Australian businesses. It provides advice and support on cyber threats and vulnerabilities to the owners and operators of Australia’s critical infrastructure and other systems of national interest. These businesses and industries underpin essential service delivery across Australia, including banking and finance, communications, energy, resources, transport and water.

For more information visit CERT Australia.

Reports help the ACSC to develop a better understanding of the threat environment and will assist other organisations who are also at risk.

Cyber security incident reports are also used in aggregate for developing new defensive policies, procedures, techniques and training measures to help prevent future incidents.
